FISCO IR Ltd. today announced that it has published the inaugural issue of the FISCO FINANCIAL REVIEW.
We at FISCO IR aim to constantly pursue a path of creativity and change in order to provide the optimal intelligence needed for people to make effective decisions in their investment and other economic activities in a society transforming faster than ever.
Currently, there are few magazines in Japan that specialize in IR or related issues, and there is no specialist magazine that explores new paradigms that may arise in future finance and capital markets in a bilingual Japanese and English format.
Taking into account this situation, we have released the first issue of the FISCO FINANCIAL REVIEW that includes practical learning, advance information on new concepts and content with value regardless of the times to contribute to Japan’s financial circles and capital market. Under this editorial policy we shall transmit messages within and outside of Japan after selecting themes enabling projection of future trends and acquiring cutting-edge wisdom from experts active in a variety of fields.
Out of a desire to focus on IR and related themes in Japan, we have chosen "The Future Course of Corporate Disclosure and Dialogue" as the theme of the first feature of the inaugural issue. We reconfirm the significance of building relationships where investors and companies are able to trust one another and engage in constructive dialogue, taking a fresh look at traditional corporate IR from many different angles. We examined the nature of the corporate disclosure practices needed by Japanese companies to convey their presence and corporate value over the medium and long terms. We also looked closely at what kind of dialogue would help Japanese companies to build even better relationships with stakeholders centered on investors.
In the second feature, "Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrency," we focused on new business opportunities that could emerge in the financial and capital markets. Furthermore, we explored the forefront of knowledge to gain insights that will be needed in the times ahead. To do so, we examined the thinking and business activities of entrepreneurs and top executives who are shaping new values and rules by embracing innovations such as blockchain and cryptocurrency at a very early stage.
