FISCO IR Ltd. announced today that the results of its CEO Ranking 2017 were listed in Forbes JAPAN’s November 2017 issue.
A decade has passed since the launch of the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) that list the principles of ESG (Environment, Social, Governance), and since then both ESG investment and PRI investment have become well-known in Japan too. Awareness of fiduciary duty when investing is clearly spreading, with consideration given to approaches to resolving social issues and factors that drive toward enhanced long-term corporate value.
Taking into account this background, FISCO IR’s CEO rankings define presidential ability as being the force that drives sustainable growth, derived from an understanding of global ESG issues through dialog with the market, and the ability to discern essential value and pay attention to the process of generating profit. We look forward to hearing any opinions or requests regarding the rankings from those working in corporate IR or CSR, or from institutional or individual investors.
FISCO IR presents these ranking results to those seeking to utilize an effective disclosure method for ESG information, and those possessing a desire to leverage their own company’s IR communication. Meanwhile, for those from companies not associated with the rankings, we hope that by all means they will consider using FISCO IR’s third-party reviews.
We look forward to hearing any opinions or requests from those working in corporate IR or CSR, or from institutional or individual investors.
